Surviving TS Debby

The beach bums (birds that live on the Gulf beach) behind a pile of debree to protect them from the wind and rain a little anyway.

THe humidity is so high the floor feels damp here in the house, a nice breeze coming in the open windows, not raining right now but dark from the heavy cloud cover..under tornado watch until 11pm...but was yesterday and we had a mild day, a little rain but a little sunshine too, no stormy wind...we have had the summer storms come early...this is the first TS I have experienced here.. and not found it bad at all..but the next may be different..right? Re: Surviving TS Debby

I can't imagine what it must be like to live under the threat of a Tornado, but it must be mighty scary Shirley. We can get quite humid summers here especially the evenings and it a bit sticky as I type this.

Finger crossed for you Shirley

Re: Surviving TS Debby

Thanks, Ken...tornado watches don't bother me much...been very close to a couple of them in my home state of Michigan...one hopped over the house and hit the silo by the barn, twisting it halfway round at about 35 feet from the ground..the silo had to be taken down from that damage.
The storm is past, had 4 days of rain, sometimes so hard it looked like being in a car wash from the kitchen window..added 4 feet of water to my lake...a good thing. Shirley
