Re: A Pond

I really like this one the darkness of the water looks great reflecting the reeds and the sky has a magical look to it..

Re: A Pond

Would be interested in the adjustments you made on that image, if you can remember and if you don't mind telling. If you are like me you will not remember what you did and your cooking will be the same no good asking me for a recipe I never know what I have done and often what I put into a dish

Cooking apart that is a pleasing shot and do I detect a slight change in your interest away from crayons and toys and onto landscapes?

Re: A Pond

Thanks Snapper and Tassle,

Mm what did I do I should start writing these "recipes down"

I fiddled with the saturation, removing most colour but keeping the blues, then darkening them quite a lot to almost black, so it gives you that indigo blue. This made the made the highlights aoppear more silvery. Added a vignette too, bit of dodging and burning, I think that was it

I am making the most of the good weather Snapper, before it goes horrible.Plus, I thought it was time I tried more landscapes.
