Song Thrush
Taken through very dirty glass - it was that or lose the shots completey lol - this was the only one i was happy with... any tips for improvment if something has to be taken through glass?

Its a nice shot Zoundz, but the head of the bird in not in focus. Try a higher f number that may help, it will give more focus to the whole image.

that's a thought - i kind of liked that it wasn't in focus, but on looking at it again, being *in* focus may have been better!

The focus seem to be sharpest in the bottom left corner, so perhaps you got just a bit to excited about the prospect of capturing the thrush. Still I can't talk still to manage even one small bird.
Keep trying I am seeing improvement all the time and you will get that amazing shot any time soon.
