Make sure he has the light in his eyes and shot from a higher angle to open the eye more

They are very similar but If i had to say.....The top one looks like you've 'dodged' the pic to make the whites of the eyes a bit whiter ?

There is no reason for the skin tone to be different if you only touched the eyes? Its possible that you saved one file in a different format/quality or even opened it up in another colour space??

i just dogde and burned them oh and used the sponge tool.

i followed a tutorial in one of my ps books.


the prob i find with some tutorials is that when they tell you to do something they assume you know what they are talking about and im a newbie to ps [and im thick ha ha ]

In that case i'd agree with Kanikula - it has to be a format issue in how you saved it.
