Re: Recent local walk.

There is beauty in even the smallest things, you just have to look for them as in your photos. Well spotted and interesting

Thanks for that Bazza. It is amazing what is around if you look carefully.

Re: Recent local walk.

I have been missing awhile, deeply depressed with winter, always have but this year worse then others due to the deep cold and grey skies. I take a pill for it but does very little to help. Due to my health I have been inside the house since mid December.
.
These photos are a help as I see spring is awakening somewhere. What is 6? You are so right, look very close and there are beautiful things. I did that in Florida and found many flowers rarely seen because they were small. Keep looking and clicking..

Re: Recent local walk.

Hi Shirley I hope the weather and your health both pick up soon. Photo 6 is a type of moss growing on top the the churchyard wall. I'll post some more shots later that will hopefully brighten up your day a little. You'll have to let me know if you get a chance to look whether they helped, if only a little.

Re: Recent local walk.

Hi Shirley

we have been battered with storms since December miles of farmland under water -rivers overflowed -the worst since records began. They even bought high power pumps over from Holland to help drain fields but had to be turned off as they were collapsing the river banks with their weight.
if you get a chance look up www.bbc.co.uk the reports have been constantly on there, even a main railway line to Devon and Cornwall was washed away
