For those without Photoshop.....

Paint.NET (voted best free image editor)

I know there's a lot of folk that don't have Photoshop so here's a free alternative to the likes of photoshop. Paint.NET offers many advanced features such as layers, a colour replacement tool, auto-levels correction etc.

I've just downloaded it to see what it's like - will let you know.

I used it about a year or so ago and thought it was quite good and the price was the best. but have been using photoshop for the past few months(after a long time away) so dont really know what the new features(if any) are.

Re: For those without Photoshop.....

Been having a play with Paint.net and it seems pretty good. All the usual whacky filters and very obviously designed to look just like photoshop.

I just wish I knew about it when I didn't have photoshop. There's a small bit on it in 16-29 Aug edition of Webuser magazine.
