Nice work Lorna - some colourful characters there!

What's Swansea like btw? Was looking at house prices there the other day, much cheaper than round here!

Re: Holga Scans, Swansea Pride 2009

Nice work, enjoyable set, the first one has the impact I enjoy the most. Looks a great opportunity for colourful pictures and clearly those extrovert characters too! Is it attended by many 'straight' folks?

I was at somebody's house the other day and had my first good look at a Holga in my hand. I can understand the attraction of mechanical cameras and film for many who never really played with them first time around. I wish I had some of mine occasionally.

Your 'her indoors' looks lovely btw! Good catch!

Very nice.

I like the retro look and they remind me of my college days. By that I mean Swansea not the retro feel.

Re: Holga Scans, Swansea Pride 2009

Azz - Swansea can be OK - depends what you want from a place. I liked some aspects of it, others really bothered me. I can't say I'm ever sorry I moved! House prices can be pretty good in some areas - but not neccessarily the areas you would want to live...

If you went more outside Swansea, you may find somewhere lovely, for a bit less - with a good commute to the city.

That'd be where I lived then

Sandfields - between the old Vetchfield footy ground and the prison, then Townhill, then Port Tennant and then the YMCA at the end of the Kingsway.

Norfolk St off Constitution hill was OK though.

Re: Holga Scans, Swansea Pride 2009

Thanks all, and thanks for compliments about my Rachy - she's rather lovely

I love Swansea, I have to be honest! Although we're moving back to Neath soon because Rachy and her kids work and go to school there and I can commute to uni!

House prices pretty good - we've just bought in Neath and its lovely can't wait to move more space x
