What has photography taught you?

In simple terms it has taught me to actually look at things against just seeing them.

It can work the other way around too - trying capture things you've visualised by getting over the technically difficulties!

I am both amazed and in awe of the world around me. He has made me treasure every moment and opportunity I have to capture my environment.

It has taught me to look around me more , I have lived in the same area for 35 years and there are so many things that i didnt see! untill i went about taking photos , a bit like having blinkers taken off.

bumping this thread because it could be interesting.


I have learnt all the wonderful things that are right in front of my eyes.
I personally prefer people photos but when I see a lonesome tree I think that would be a good pic although the landscape stuff never comes out how i see it in my eye....lol

taught me to listen and take the sound advise from the ones who know,
