Two of my favorite artists, Ive been lucky enough to see them both, and was so saddened by the Captains demise last year. Ive never kept Siberian hamsters but understand they make great pets.

Was just saying that I'd love to have seen the Captain live - but never did manage, though my dad saw him 4 times. When he passed away I named one of our keeper boys Bongo Fury Don Van Vliet. I was always hoping to contact him and maybe get a quick sketch/painting done about the rats, and what we do - but I didn't get round to it - something I'll always regret
They do make fab pets - can't imagine life without them - we've been breeding since 2006 and keeping them since 2004 (I got my first pair in 1999 actually!). And actually - I can proudly say, not a treat needed for our photos!
