So it was the Offshore 1 today in my home town. Snapped a few shots while I was there. Those boats are some fast ****ers! A boat called Fazza beat the world record in highest speed in this class on friday! 273 km/h!!!

Love to see the powerboats, used to see them regularly when I lived in Abu Dhabi. Not really sure this shot has much to offer but appreciate you have done your best to add interest and excitement on a grey lake on a grey day and white boat.

I really rather like it! I love that the boat is sharp while the rest is blurred - think it adds to the idea of motion.

Nice capture Tommy. I agree with what BC said about making the best of a dull day and a somewhat dull background. Maybe getting a closer shot would have helped, or utilising the tracking ability of your Nikon and going for something like this:

I like the shot, I think the greyness of the water and sky only serves to place the emphasis on the power boat itself.
