Re: 52 Snaps and ramblings

Thats a good idea Suzi, trouble with mine I have been inclined to put the shots that are just special to me and use my decent shots elsewhere. However I like the idea and could go back and change the naf shots for ones I am pleased with as shots rather than those that just mean something to me - on the other hand I suppose those that mean something to me would be nice as well.

Re: 52 Snaps and ramblings

TBH I don't think any of mine are anything special, but most are of something that happened that week , a reminder, so they are not wow! but mean something to me XXX

Week 18

Not been able to take shots this last week so this one is from the week before although I have only just got round to looking at it. So for week 18 another bird, this time a Grazing Goose. Not sure what sort and would like to know if anyone has the information, thanks.

Pentax K20 - Pentax 28-80mm - hand held

Just come across this one, not good enough to keep but thought I would share it as it is so very typical of duck behaviour

Re: 52 Snaps and ramblings

Week 19

Thought I would take the advice given by Phil and find some local landscape that was within walking distance, settled for the far end of the garden known to the household as the dog field.

Not too impressed with the results they are not as sharp as those I took a couple of weeks ago with my Pentax 28mm-80mm this one is the Sigma 28mm - 300mm and does not seem to be performing nearly as well although it was and is windy.

1/ The field gate

2/ it was suggested that you place something to take the viewers eye - will this do? It's called Varg and is useful and it is quite mobile

3/ Only trouble with these mobile points of interest they sometimes run amok, worrying when you have chosen to sit on a low stool.

Re: 52 Snaps and ramblings

I love the first shot, very English country garden!

I am extremely jealous of your dog field, I would love my own dog paddock Varg is gorgeous hope your boys are all well. Elkies are a stunning breed, and always look happy and cheeky XXXX
