Dpi

I've had a company approach me to use some of my photos, now I dont have the original edited files, but high quality jpgs uploaded to flickr. now I converted it to a cmyk and saved it as a .tif, I got an email back saying that designer would like a 300 dpi version, now I maybe a bit dumb here but I think my canon 350D only shoots at 72 dpi, so would I have to enlarge in photoshop to 300 dpi and risk distortion?

heres a nice break for your eyes to read as I forgot to press return.

Re: Dpi

You can convert to 300dpi in photoshop - you don't really have any other choice I guess, so I'd do that and see what they say.

Re: Dpi

When cropping for printing my images for clients, i always crop on 300dpi and there is never any distortion... HTH

But then that is using the original photos from the camera.

Re: Dpi

dpi isnt camera related what so ever as I've learned. its just to do with ammount of info per square inch.
