I am looking at buying one of these. With a head it will be over £150 but it is a steal for at that price for a carbon fibre tripod

Everyone will suggest a manfrotto good it is true but there are others as good and not so expensive. Take a look at the SLIK 700D around £115 including head. you will find it a sound and steady piece of gear and well up to the job.
Bigma weighs about 2kg if I remember correctly.
