Today

I'd been planning a day out with the camera today but it's windy and raining hard.

I'm going to wait for it to stop and head out - perhaps I'll try something which will lend itself to black and white.

That said the sky is plain white which is a shame.

Re: Today

Phil you should move to Devon its a glorious day here.

But after the rain shots are sometimes great and the idea to 'think' black and whie is cool.

Re: Today

Have a great day, fingers crossed you may see those Eagles

Any Highland cows near you, I love them, and I remember that shot you did of them before in black and white, were really good.

There's loads of 'muckle coos' around here so it's a posibility although I have somewhere in mind.

I do remember the picture but I seem to have lost it

Re: Today

Ahh hope it bucks up soon! Off to Sale Water Park again now with Carmen. Weather's not great here but it's dry at the moment.

Re: Today

I'm still stuck indoors. I am not the best patient in the world and this sitting/laying about is doing my head in.

I've got a Clumber spaniel that keeps looking deeply into my eyes as if to say "when are we going to the pub". If only

Trudi's just got back from taking Ailla (my springer) across the heath so she should settle now (Ailla that is).

I am getting grumpier by the hour and can't wait 'till I can get out.

Re: Today

When I take my Beemer out for a ride to the coast it's always a coin toss regarding the weather. There a huge mountain range, The Cascades, between my home in Beaverton, Oregon and the ocean. Weather varies drastically.

I started off yesterday with puffy white clouds and patches of blue shining through. As i left my valley and headed over the mountains the clouds got thicker & thicker until no blue was visible. By the time I cleared the Cascades & reached the coast it started raining on me. I never stopped but simply return via a different highway to my valley home with its puffy clouds & patches of blue. No pictures today.

Re: Today

Turned out to be a typical Scottish day. Howling wind and driving rain followed by blue sky and sunshine.
