stitching software?

Can anyone recommend a program that will let me stitch 3 landscape pics together. I had a try with my Dell software that I have but it just doesn't do it.
It may be me so if anyone wants to volunteer to put these pics together for me I would be most grateful.

Photoshop

Or, something like the Gimp which is free

As Azz said, you should be able to stitch in Photoshop or you could try one of the following:

Autostitch

Panorama Factory

Both have trial versions you can download
Kit 1
Canon 20D
Canon 28-135 3.5-5.6 IS USM
Canon 70-300 4-5.6 IS USM
Canon 100 2.8 USM Macro
Canon 10-22mm 3.5-4.5
Canon 50mm 1.4
Canon 85mm 1.8

We use autostitch

Photoshop V8

Going to install CS3 to see if it's any good for myself heard some bad reports about it.
