Yeah a lot boils down to how the camera 'feels' in your hand. The Nikon just felt 'right' when I held them.

It really is down to personal choice tho, as I don't think there is a wrong answer - I am sure you will be over the moon with either Canon or Nikon - they are both capable of producing amazing shots

I didnt exaggerate at all, ask your wife!! You gave an awful lot for what you got for it Bazza, it wasnt only the camera and the lens was it!! you cannot deny that and you cant deny you couldnt sell it anywhere else! in fact this was your advert!


Nikon D70s Digital camera for sale. 18mths old. Including:
18-70mm DX ED Lens.
2 remote shutter leads. 1 and 5 metres.
1 Battery grip.
3 spare batteries.
2 adjustable dioptic eye pieces.
1GB memory compact flash card.
1 bought camera manual.
All original software/leads etc.. (no box)
Over £1100 of gear.


So who is exaggerating now!

You may not have guessed but Dawn is my kennels manageress and we are always comparing her Canon against my Nikon. Apart from my camera being far better than her Canon,when we get the chance we do tend to try and get to zoos or RSPB sites or camera exhibitions. Oh and before you ask the wife knows all about it.

"The wife" is pleased to kick him out for a couple hours! I go into "deaf mode" Bazza loses his lens cap (ALWAYS DOES!!) and we are all happy!
