Typical

Having had a quiet Friday night in, I was up nice and early this morning.

It was of those nice frosty mornings where the ground is white, the sky is blue and the mist is sitting low around the hills.

Ah - some nice 'morning' pictures I thought but my camera battery was dead

Oh dear, I remembered to charge my battery yesterday so it was nice and full for our walk with Jack, go out there, went to switch the camera on, nothing, nadda, completly dead, on further investigation I realized I hadn't put the battery back in the camera

Re: Typical

Oh dear, never mind, its meant to be a stunning day tomorrow to i keep spare batteries in the car, in my laptop bag, and in my kit box all charged up and ready to go i also keep a spare memory card in the car and i am lucky enough to have a spare 400D body so i keep a battery and memory card in there in case my main 400D body brakes or needs work on it for some reason (always take a spare body/batteries and card to photoshoots too).
