Scanners

As you've probably noticed I've posted a few scanned pics, I'm using the HP psc 1317, it aint the best scanner, the resolution could be better but it's only snapshots I'm doing from old pics.

9 years ago I got a Black Widow 1248 pro, they used to have a factory outlet near where I live, sadly they went bust a few years ago.

The 1248 is a good bit of kit, the scan mode is 36 - 48bit and resolution is 19,200 x 19,200 dpi.

The resulting image is massive and you can do all sorts of image enhancement with it, will do a few scans and let you see the results (if I can dig it out of the store cupboard)

Re: Scanners

Ive recently bought a new Epson perfection V500 and am happy enough with the results so far, I just need to work out the correct size, resolution etc. so that I can show them on here without em being too huge
