Sooo Annoyed

Well nearly bought a Canon EOS 400d today. Got to the cash till, Jessops had a great special offer on, got myself a lens etc. Doing credit, so didn't have to pay until next year and I get told that I've been refused credit

So off I went to my bank, they said there's no reason why I should be refused but on asking on another site, supposedly those of us who don't use credit cards and that the companies can't check up on can't get credit because they can't see if we are good or bad at paying!!!

IS THIS WORLD CRAZY OR WHAT! SO I'M SAT HERE TOTALLY FED-UP AND WISHING THAT I LIVED IN SPAIN I HATE ENGLAND!!

Yes i have that problem too! I have only ever had one loan and it got paid in a year, never late and always on time with repayments. However that isnt enough to be scored on apparently!

Yeah they normally advise people to get a small load and then pay it back promtly so you get your credit ratings up!

Can I move to Spain too? I hate the cold!!!!

So basically speaking, to be credit worthy, you have to have been in debt at some stage don't figure

Another way is ok way of getting a decent credit score is to get a credit card, only use it for small things such as petrol, or bits of shopping and pay it off in full at the end of each month.
