Jake and Skye

I took the d40 out today(yes its back) and went a bit mad with dog photos(so get read for loads) However these two were a couple I were really pleased with.

So glad to hear you have the beloved D40 back and that it is working - also like the shot of the Old Man Jake, somehow his colour is more appealing.

Thanks all. I was pleased with the Jake one as I have always found it hard to capture his colour right.

Great shots Stormey and Jake looks great, and of course Skye looks very pretty

Fantastic sharp shots. One thing you might like to consider when photographing animals is that it is all in the eyes - in picture one, if you had turned the dog slightly to put catchlights in his eyes it would have made for an A1 picture. I hope you dont mind me saying so.

Na I dont mind you saying, I am new to photography so any helps good. I do have trouble with eyes, Skyes more so as she has really dark ones.
