Flower

Taken today.

Camera -
Canon G15
settings -ISO 80 1/400 F/8

Lighting -
One vivitar 285 @ camera right @ 16th power about 3ft away.

Post -
Flipped image, added texture, sharpened, colour balance, channel mixer for contrast and tweaked colour in LAB mode.

Lot of work gone into making that photo.
Have to be honest, as always, and say I can't make up my mind if I like it as a photo or look at it more as a painting. I don't dislike it, maybe because its definately different to the usual flower type photos.

I like it Jonni - is it a real flower ?

Creative, gritty and lively without loosing the delicate feel of the subject.

As ever the lighting is great and again it's good to get a description of the set up.

Very clever, but not my 'cup of tea', not a criticism at all just an observation based on my personal preferences.

No problem with the info Phil. Hopefully people will have ago using the info.
Its a fake flower as real once don't stand up to the dunking.

I did wonder if it was fake (not that it matters) as the top 3 petals show off the material.
