Re: Highland Wildlife Park

Carole try a little editing

Done with Adobe Elements 9 and spot healing brush tool

From this

i could have spent a little more time with a smaller brush for the grass areas, just thought you might like to get a rough idea on how to get rid of unwanted mesh fence

Re: Highland Wildlife Park

Carole its not that hard to do using that editing program and would recommend elements 10 in preference to 9 as it has a couple of more features. The one I like on E10 is blurring the whole picture and restoring just the subject to make it stand out. I have just ordered Elements 11 and the premier11 as Amazon have a reduced offer on at the moment. I did order them even cheaper as Amazon had a special 1 day offer

Will have a look and see if there is anything for a mac which is what I have. I only have Aperture for photos and to be honest have not explored all its features.

Re: Highland Wildlife Park

No doub it can still be improved on but its a starter for 10 as they say. Bit of a sod this one removing so much fencing, so sorry for the result

Tip 1 trick if possible is to get the lens close to the wire/mesh fence (if possible) using a finger tip to keep just off it. The barrier then either becomes a blur or invisible.

Tip 2 when editing try and get rid of distractions either by cropping or removing, that draws the attention to the subject matter.

Tip3 Good editing does take time and mistakes can be made, so don't try and edit the whole picture at once. Edit so much then save ,so if in further editing a mistake is made you don't have to start right from the beginning, only back to where it was saved.

The above samples are just a quick effort and by no means perfect, Only done to give a rough idea how editing can improve a picture without over doing it

Done just for Carole
