Redpoll, Red Kite, Sparrow, Chaffinch

A bit of a mix bag really from the last few dismal evenings.

Pushing the quality a bit here. I'm hoping for some 'light' one day soon but the new (or new to me) 1D3 is giving me the chance to enjoy getting out later in the day or in much poorer light than I would have done with the 40D or 1D2

Great shot of the kite's phil... Can you tell me where you got these?? I'm thinking of spending a day up at tentsmuir to see if I can see the white tailed eagles..

I still see the odd White Tailed Sea eagle as the East Coast Sea Eagle project 'release site' is on the hill beside where I live.

They stay fairly local for a while because the rangers continue to put food (deer carcasses and Salmon) for them at the release site although I think most have pretty much gone off an roam wide and far now.

The ranger at Argaty said that they have a White Tailed Sea Eagle that visits and they've also had an Osprey visit the newly installed Osprey platform.

Van Farm reserve at Loch Leven near Kinross was getting regular visits from the Sea Eagles but I've not checked of late...............

The East Coast Sea Eagle Project did have a sightings page that may help but these birds roam over a massive area and it's pretty much pot luck.......
