Some nature shots from my local lakes with the new lens, plus a few surprises.

This is a mixed bag which I took using the Nikon 300mm with a 1.4x teleconverter giving me 420 mm.

6) I didn't know these were due or I would have put on 300mm zoom lens, I couldn't get all the planes in or take shots fast enough before they were gone.

Beautiful selection of shots, three different types of wings. the butterfly is beautiful, such clarity showing all the delicate details.

Re: Some nature shots from my local lakes with the new lens, plus a few surprises.

The butterflies are wonderful! I have tried to find some but not a one so far, except for a small white one that obviously prefers the manure pile to flowers! I have read that more butterflies feed on dung, and rotten fruit and vegetation then necter...and that there are more kinds of butterflies in Michigan then Florida....so why can't I find them?
