Buglife at Brandon

All taken with a 30mm f2.8 macro. Which focusses down to 11mm from the front element. In some of these I could smell the honey breath of the bees...

Re: Buglife at Brandon

Some cracking shots amongst a good set. Was that Brandon in Suffolk along the Little Ouse. If so about 10 miles from where I live.

More likely Warwickshire judging by your location.

Re: Buglife at Brandon

I am happy to see butterflies...almost none here...a few tattered Monarchs...I read from the university's butterfly group that it was so dry in this state that butterflies died off...hope there is enough to build up the population for another year. It has been a little bit higher for rain this year..raining right now. Very well done macro photos Shirley
