Nice NS. Only thing I'd criticize is that you caught the boat as it was directly behind the tree.

A very pleasant scene NS. Agree with Azz that the boat would be better placed further to the right, even better if it had come from where it is at 45 degrees to add a more 3 dimensional feel and the composition less central.

This is my interpretation of the castle what do you think? No boat- no poles behind and no scaffolding. For me it gives more of that derelect look

That's true... to be honest I didn't like the scaffold so yes, better without but there are a few issues with removing the boat, the water etc.
