Its an interesting new(ish) hobby for me, that I have a love/hate with. I pick up my camera, have a play for awhile, read the magazines, join the forums and then find I can't seem to find the inspiration or the results and wander off back to what else I tend to do.

My main hobby is racing Slot cars (Scalextric), which I spend a lot of time/money on! I also ran a MINI forum/club for the past five years which has now closed, and so I have more time to spend on getting this photography thing sorted!

I used to build and race 1/10 RC controls @ Ernie - I know it's not quite the same but I used to love it

Well another ex slot car racer/builder here - many years ago now but at the time I loved it.

Photography has always been one of my hobbies, even before I got the dogs although now the bulk of my shots are dog related. One of my other hobbies is diving and I also try to incorporate photography with that, although I don't dive as much as I would like to.

I'd forgotten one of our more expensive and awkward hobbies - the 80's toy collection! We've spent so many thousands on it - and it takes up two rooms in a house these days - so we have to live in houses according to how well they accommodate the toys. Currently we're in a 4 bedroom house!

No, not collecting guitars but playing them I don't think I'm very good but I love to compose my own music and then record it on my pc using other bits n bobs too.

My power pack for my mount. I have two of these and usually take one with me when I'm doing some terrestrial photography , just in case my only 5d MkII battery runs out, but that has not happened yet. It has an air compressor and torch built in too, as well as the mains power inverter.

Flying RC electric aircraft, although I've not done any of that in a while.
I have many planes all shapes and sizes, some with standard electric motors and others with powerfull brushless motors

I've always been interested in computers since the spectrum 48k and have gained various pc qualifications over the years. I have also built and sold many as well and continue to build for myself.

At prime focus (DSLR connected directly to telescope) it would be equivalent to a 1800mm lens. Using eyepieces from 8mm to 22wideangle ones, you then get increased magnification of that up to about 300x (useable) I think.

Yes, I love my Sony HD tv and Sky HD box - PS3 to go with it It's a 40" and that is probablly the standard size now for LCD/plasma tv's.
