That is because I have the D200, if I upgraded to the D300 getting more FPS with a grip it may well be worth considering.

It all comes down to the question, what /when/why would you use a grip for? bearing in mind the extra weight added.

Re: Battery grips - worth it?

You should see Dawn commng to work, the only kennel manageress weighed down with photograph equipment. Next she will be wanting the grooming parlour turned into a studio.

Re: Battery grips - worth it?

Well it makes sense Bazza - imagine if you offered it as an additional service?

The owners come back from hols and get to choose(/buy) a print that you guys have taken while they've been away

Also, congrats on your new D300!

Re: Battery grips - worth it?

Nice one Dawn

I think you could offer it as a service now as you have become really good at them - what'll cost you... just the studio lights and back drop?

Probably yes, but as a lot of trade is returning clients ( those that turn a deaf one to Bazzas jokes) there isnt myuch "repeat" business. Its worth a thought though.

Dont ask about the D300, my ears hurt!!
