Re: Girlie Camera Bags

It is annoying isn't it! Why are camera bags so blokey
or obviously designed for men . being way too heavy and big, or the straps are boob crushers or just downright ugly.

I just want a nice looking . comfy bag!!!!!!

I do have a bee in my bonnet about this now, as both , Jols and I have spent ages trying to find a nice bag, and neither have of us have found anything really

Re: Girlie Camera Bags

At one time I transformed a nice grey and pink show bag into a camera bag by carving some polystyrene blocks to fit the cameras and lens and then gluing nice blue satin over the blocks. Not only was it nice and light to carry it did not scream cameras at a dog show and looks like a sports bag elsewhere if you ignore the BOB Crufts emblazoned in pink across the side

Unfortunately my OH, who does a lot of camera work at speedway meetings, has commandeered it, he too finds camera bags too much to lug around, particularly with the heavy tripods these video people use to say nothing of the electronic remote control handle thingies.

Re: Girlie Camera Bags

Someone mention boobs? Why not have flowery pretty pretty attache/brief cases as well for women. Then again men could have the same with semi naked women plastered on the side.
Businesses could use them as advertising space (oh stop me before my mind runs riot).

Radio controlled Peli cases

Jols and I last night decided we are going to do the same, we are working out how to do it, using foam pads, , nice fabric, also velcro , so you can decide on the size of the compartments. We have both found suitable bags that are roomy, but won't kill your boobs, or back, and look nice. So watch this space

LOL I don't want a flowery one, just a bag that is more comfortable to use, doesn't weigh a ton, and looks okay

Don't mock, if you had boobs you'd understand The rucksack I bought was too bigas it is obviously designed for a man's back, and the straps actually ended up on my boobs and was really uncomfortable.

Enough boob talk anyway, you get the picture by now

Radio controlled Peli cases would be a good idea, I bet they weigh a ton when loaded.
