Quite time consuming because you have to open each individual image and cut out the part of the image you want then paste it into a new layer in the montage.

So that has to be done 7 times and each level has to be adjusted to match as well as one can the other layers.

You then have to create 7 more layers to put the text on.

Find a background, a beech hedge in this case, and add this to it's own layer.

Then you are moving and jiggling about with all the layers to get the result you wish.

I'm not to sure of the background on this one and in retrospect I think I should have cut the opacity back on the background layer so that it did not distract quite so much.

That is a lot of layers

I like it though, I like the colours in the Beech hedge. It's really nicely done.

That's brilliant. Have to say that I really didn't look at the background much until you mention how it's done.

Thats great editing. I was wondering the difference between a collage and a montage?

Someone on here no doubt can enlighten me.

Good question. I've probably picked the wrong one.
