This is a very nice picture! Love the colour and the composition. Sad its got in the state it is, but it sure makes a cracking image!

I too like this subject and feel more could be made of it. I agree with KK an ND filter would be a useful tool in this scenario. nice grab Bob.

Nice shot Bob, love the colours, I was a bit confused though cos I read 'Ralicar' and was expecting a scooby or an evo lol (must get my eyes tested again)

Anyway, I am with KK, it's a great shot, but zooming out or moving back could improve the shot (depending on what is next to the carriage) I think some extra background could compliment the shot, and add to that isolated feeling you get with stuff that has been dumped like this.

The Camp 18 property is littered with these kinds of artifacts. This car sits on rails only a few feet longer than the car itself. To back up or choose a different angle would have cluttered the shot even more. There are steam engines & sawmills on either side of it. The best angle I saw was from inside the restaurant looking through a large plate glass window. I couldn't get to my camera because this huge plate of eggs Benedict was in my way. You understand, Right?
