The wifes take on birds in flight..

I took the wife to a bird of prey centre a while back, as she wanted to see if she could still retain some detail of the birds whilst they were in flight, so I handed her my D300s and gave her a quick lesson and left her to it..( sadly the light could have been better with the snowy )

Bearing in mind she is no photographer, I didn't think she did to bad.

Nothing wrong with those.

Light in the snowy owl shot looks pretty good. You don't want it full on sunny although that does help with the shutter speed sometimes if you've not got an ultra modern DSLR with daft ISO capabilities.

the snowy shot is amazing. actually, both are amazing shots, but i love the snowy owl.
