Cattle drinking
I was playing with the dogs in a nearby lake when a herd of cattle came down to drink, I heard their bells clonking long before they appeared from the bush. They were highlighted by the sunlight reflected off the water, making bright lines across them. It struck me that cows had been drinking in this lake in the middle of no-where for centuries – hence the “old look” idea.
