Exposure is good (white birds are always a challenge), and I like the idea of the black water. I do prefer shots of birds where you're on more or less the same level as them rather than looking up or down, it just looks a bit less awkward.

Do agree if you are taking a shot of a bird because you wish a record of that bird then eye level is best, in this case I was trying to do something different and produce a pleasing image.

Yes, white birds are difficult and it is why the water was almost black without my intervention in PP, the light was metered off the bird so everything else was underexposed, even then I only just avoided clipping the back of the bird.

Great image. I love the contrasts.

I prefer the D cup too.
I think it could still with a bit more softening at the edge.
Also, the black just to the right of the breast still has some detail and a hard edge where the picture used to end.
