Moon 100% crop

Here is a crop of the moon I think the detail is quite good

Yes the detail is quite good - but would look better if the image was darkened a tad. I used curves in Photoshop and had a much better definition of the craters.

Nice detailed crop Goggs, I prefer the darker pic.

That's good going for a x2 on the 100-400L, how much did you stop it down by?

Hi Ken the details areCamera Model
Canon EOS 7D
Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/200
Av( Aperture Value ) 5.6
ISO Speed 100

At 400mm with the converter and 1.6 crop factor = 1280mm
