New Camcorder

Been wanting a camcorder for some time so decided I had waited long enough.

So went out and bought a Panasonic 600EBH this afternoon, just got to learn how to use it now.

Re: New Camcorder

Nice one Bazza,

Let me know what it is like, especially compatability with Premiere (if you have it)

I couldn't find Panasonic 600EBH, did u type it right

I have an SD JVC Camcorder that works fine with premiere, I also have been using a Samsung HD camcorder that produces brilliant images, but almost no video software in the world can seem to import the files

Re: New Camcorder

Alan

I don't have or know what premier is, so can't help with that. The camcorder is classified as an HDC-SD600 3mos ( works on all three colour independently) 14.2 mega pixel and full HD. the link is actually the Panasonic 600EBH version and where I bought mine from.

Had a little play with it earlier this evening and it has really quick focus and you can download to computer -disc-you tube direct. My technique is rubbish at the moment too much zoom in/out, but the colours are spot on.
It comes with its own video download suite as well.

Re: New Camcorder

Thanks Bazza,

I figured it was the SD-600. Would love to have been at the meeting where they decided to call their new (primarily HD) camcorder the 'SD' 600 haha.

Premiere is Adobe Premiere, part of the CS Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash etc.)

Enjoy it
Alan.

Re: New Camcorder

Azz
How about adding a camcorder section to the forum which could include DSLR's using movie mode. I am sure there could be some useful hint and tips using this medium we can pass on to each other. I could certainly do with some.

Re: New Camcorder

The "SD" part of the model number relates to the fact it uses an SD/SDHC memory card.
