That shot makes me remember the very distinct smell when I used to visit traction engine fairs as a lad.

Sums up my last two weekends, been to two steam fairs. Certainly some nerdy and strange folks there but there is that lovely smell of smoke, steam and you get covered in sooty deposits! ...and of course for such hot days there is always a beer tent!
