Scottish Landscapes

Hello...and a very Happy New Year to you all.

Re: Scottish Landscapes

Fantastic landscapes, No2 for me. It's wonderful and it's purple!
Have you tired no 1 in black and white? I think it may look even better in Mono It looks bloody freezing though

Happy New Year to you too xx

I hadn't even noticed them DJ Well spotted...although, now that you've pointed them out...I can't believe I didn't see them.
I think it's a lens flare. I'll maybe clean it up a bit later if I have time

I did try it in black and white, but I preferred the original, as it really captured the cold frosty morning ( I think )

Re: Scottish Landscapes

Hmmm...not sure if you have corrected the red dots but on my laptop monitor I can't see 'em at all.

The pictures are lovely. The red boat spoils the blueness of No.1 for me, but otherwise I like that and the landscapes. Would be good to see them full sized and maybe a little tweaking here and there - but that may be the laptop screen I use (plan to change that this week).

I have never really been to any of these scenic places around Scotland and from the various photos here and submitted by DJ and others it looks the place to be (for photography at least). As I said before, I'm not aware of any landscapes coming in particularly from those in the South or Midlands area particularly? Anyone got anything tucked away to restore my faith in landscapes down this way or do we have just urban industrial stuff?
