Re: Remotes - anyone use them?

Jols you know how dizzy I can be, make sure you take off the plastic around the battery, when you get it.

Not that I know anybody who would be stupid enough to be pointing and swearing at the remote and camera, because it won't work

Re: Remotes - anyone use them?

I have both types, and find them really useful on long exposure shots

They can also be used for self portrait shots too

Re: Remotes - anyone use them?

Find the delay shutter button thingy on your camera. Mine is on top with a little clock and a little shutter remote logo. Press that button , and on mine a menu comes up. I scroll down to the bottom to the remote logo, and then choose if I want immediate, 2 second, or 10 second delay.
is that what you wanted???

Re: Remotes - anyone use them?

I t means you can stand in front of the camera or away from it and you won't get any shake on long exposures or of cours eto do self portraits.
On mine I have a delay options and then two options for the delay on the remote.I put mine on delay and then point it at the camera when I want to press the shutter.

I am not making any sense ,am I?
