Have you got any of your photographs on your walls ?

We've got quite a few paintings on our walls but strangely no photographs.

I've obviously got a few family and pet photographs in little free standing frames but I would never think to have a big framed landscape photograph of my own on the wall.

I was just wondering if anybody else has ?

I haven't no... but have had a sketch commissioned of Rocky that is based on a photo - does that count? It hasn't been finished yet so is not actually hung up either.

Re: Have you got any of your photographs on your walls ?

My wife has framed my woodland shot that was fortunate enough to get a runners up spot last month for her brother for Xmas as he commented on how much he liked it. He is also very into into trees. My wife also so really likes it so I am framing it for her for Christmas.

Hey Phil,

I brought my wife Mandy a digital photo-frame a few years back and we have a bunch of stuff on that, but most of the pics on the wall are family and pets too.

Re: Have you got any of your photographs on your walls ?

Thanks folks - it's interesting to get other peoples views.

Whilst I've had a few orders for large products - I obviously never get to see them in flesh so I've no idea whether I'd like them or not.

A few of my family and friends have had a few over the years which I've seen on their walls but I always feel like I'd get something done and then 5 mins later wish I'd gone for something different.

Re: Have you got any of your photographs on your walls ?

I've none on my walls, but my brother and his wife who are both mad-keen fisherfolk have a number of shots of themselves with various piscine prey all over their dining room, and some of their son's professional work in the hallway.
The only picture I have on the wall is one someone else took of Willow some years ago...

Re: Have you got any of your photographs on your walls ?

Funny that you should ask.... I have 2 that are enlargements of flowers that I took. Oh wait a minute I do have 4- 5x7 photos (flowers) in my bathroom that are on the wall. But sadly I don't have any that are hanging as "art" in my house! I think I am going to work on this! I have tons of framed friends and family all over my house but nothing that is screaming at my guest when they walk in.

Re: Have you got any of your photographs on your walls ?

No big ones, but the Wife has quite a few smaller ones in frames dotted around the walls in groups.

I took some of a friend of ours Daughter and her baby recently, and I believe they've had one of them turned into a canvas. I'm interested to see how that's turned out.
