Bulk delete on Flickr

Due to new potential copyright regulations that may well be coming in soon, I will be deleting all my images on flickr and exchanging them with copyright marked images with my details on them. please accept my apologies in advance if you cannot see the images on any of my threads xx

Re: Bulk delete on Flickr

Good idea, I've opened a new flickr account, and it's private, so only I can see it, and store shots that way, and I'm deciding on how to watermark my new stuff better. (If any of you get a strange contact request,it will be me with my new account)Then I will make it public, it's a pain in the butt TBH.

I was thinking of deleting my old Flickr account, as I want to step away from that now, but didn't want to mess up threads on here and other forums. Can you make a Flickr account private, after it's been public, and the shots stay in threads???

Re: Bulk delete on Flickr

I think you can change all your images to private BUT when you do so it changes the Flickr file names and therefore your images will not show in the forum.

Re: Bulk delete on Flickr

I've a public / private split in a pro account as some stuff is in stock libraries.

You can have collections (parent's to sets) as private if you want.

Kit 2

Re: Bulk delete on Flickr

Well, I am keeping my new account private for now, as I am still fiddling with a decent watermark, that works with my re branding.

Guess, I will just delete my old Flickr over time, and then switch to my new account. I do have an old pro account too, which I keep lots of the kids pics on,as a cheap back up, but that is all set to family viewing only.
