Anglesey Abbey.

We had a superb day at Anglesey Abbey and we will return on a regular basis as it seems to have something different for each season.

Re: Anglesey Abbey.

Nice little series Richard, shot number 6 is my pick.

From the wing shape I would say it's the Boeing B17 flying fortress, also the tail plane is totally different on the Lancaster. But still a nice spot Richard, well done.

There is a Lancaster and B17 on the first page of this gallery HERE

Re: Anglesey Abbey.

Looking at your link I think you are probably correct about the plane Ken. I just wish I'd heard it coming earlier so that I could have got a better shot of it.

Thanks for you other comments.

Re: Anglesey Abbey.

I heard on the news Shuttleworth was cancelled, due to watterlogging I think.. However we will be there later in the year for a hawks 1/2 day, handling the birds etc. Hopefully it will provide some good shots.
