I'm very happy with my 850 IS 
It's such a great little camera - truly pocket sized... I take it so many places I wouldn't take my real camera - and always get some great shots from it....
It's just a little over budget - maybe save for a couple more weeks!!
Maybe visit Jessops and look at them all pretend to be interested in buying
