Psychedelic mirror ball room
Thought I'd post these for the fun factor and the colour if nothing else. Taken with my compact camera in Edinburgh on Sunday.
It's a room with mirrored walls, a mirrored ceiling and and a mirrored floor. Set into the center of the mirrored floor is a large mirrored half sphere.
The far wall is not a mirror but a flat screen which plays ever changing psychedelic images.
When you look at the floor the half sphere appears as a whole sphere due to the fact it is sat in a mirror.
As you can imagine, the flash caused no end of problems but after a spot of trial and error I got some OK shots.
Here's a few taken looking accross the floor at the sphere.
The fun really starts though when you look to the side, up or down as you just seem to float as the images just replicate themselves away into infinity as if you're inside a gigantic sphere full of spheres. It's great fun with a hangover !
