Now I am sure that the instruction book said I had to do something with this tree.

Thats is amusing Bazza, had one of those strutting around on the dogs grass in the summer but you guessed it, I did not have a camera to hand.

We have for the past few years had at least one if not two families of woodpeckers here.
The greatest sight is the parents training the young to feed for themselves.

Also we have the rare treat of a family of green woodpeckers who are regular visitors.



Sorry about picture quality but as you can appreciate they are not the easiest of birds to photograph especially when there are three in the photo. There were actually four of them but the other was out of camera view.
