Oh yes he can be a little show off at times! Having Jack about so Luke can play the clown helps!!

The bg is easy when you know how Im currently working with a canvas. You need to make sure you have light on the canvas so its brighter than the subject. So effectivly your subject needs to be one f stop down from the canvas. For EG Canvas meters at F11, subject meters at F8

Close
High key is basically over exposing the highlights for low contrast.

Low Key is underexposing the shadows for high contrast
