How many cameras do you have?

I was looking through some fuji groups on flickr (which I'm now addicted to lol) and realised that there are peeps with sometimes over 6 cameras some people even take 3 cameras out with them (at once) regularly.

Anyone here do that? How come?

I realise that people will usually have more than one. Just didn't know people kept so many so often.

Ohhhhh dear...sometimes you jst get fond of them and can't bear to e-bay them.

I am wayyyy guilty as charged here.

a Bridge camera..Fuji

A Canon film camera

a Compact..canon powershot

2 DSLR's and I sometimes take both DSLR's out round my neck to save changing lenses, also the compact is always in my pocket.

Me bad,

Re: How many cameras do you have?

2 DSLR bodies - (as Daisy says sometimes it's easier picking up another camera than changing lenses) a couple of compact IXUS camera's and about 3 or 4 old 35mm and rangefinder cameras although they don't get much use to be honest.

Re: How many cameras do you have?

I've got an old film camera that was given to me so just wouldn't sell/give away for that reason. I have a camcorder which I might give away to my brother as I don't use it, then my compact and the bridging camera that I just got.. I'm keeping the compact as its good to have for nights out etc where the bridge isn't suitable.

I can't really see myself buying the latest fuji bridging cameras as they come out each year. Realistically I've got two plus two That live in the cupboard.

Re: How many cameras do you have?

I suppose some people just love a brand and like testing them out as they arrive then can't bear to part with them?

I couldnt carry two dslr's plus lenses etc and still take photos due to past injuries. I suppose thats maybe why I found it a surprise that someone would carry 3 cameras around..
Just forget other ppl can I suppose.

Re: How many cameras do you have?

Honey..I have a foot long scar from my sternum down after the Cancer surgery AND I had an A4 size mesh plate put in after a massive hernia caused by that surgery and I can heft 2 DSLR's with lenses....because I am a togger.

.. and you won't buy anothere bridge camera because you will have a DSLR by Christmas and I would bet on that.

Re: How many cameras do you have?

My Canon and 3 batteries, that's all I need. I did buy my wife a fuji p&s that never gets used. I might use that once in a blue moon.
I was looking in a supermarket today at a Fuji bridge camera. It's now down to £109. I wanted to buy it just because how cheap it was..... oh, and a Nikon down to £74 I want too
