Please help me learn to love...........

...my tripod.

We have been in an on/off relationship for a long time but I now accept I need him in my life on a more permanent basis,

Frankly however..he's a real nuisance to drag around and he resents me pulling his legs. He doesn't say much but I can tell by the way he trips me up at every opportunity that he doesn't really like me. He's not expensive or flashy but solid and decent and I feel he could be a reliable companion.....if only we can make it work.

Also, when we are out and about he screams 'Female Togger..come patronise her...' attracts a crowd and makes me look conspicuous, so stealth shots are out.

We need some kind of guidance counselling....can anyone help us?

* Would love to hear from someone who made a love match with their tripod after a wobbly legged start.

Mines a leggy lady - as long as I keep her level headed, twiddle the right knobs, take her to all the best places and don't leave her shut in the boot for too long - we get on.

Re: Please help me learn to love...........

okay...we went for a walk in the garden and held hands for a while.

I tried to see things through his eyes and he offered me a steadying hand on the rougher ground.

It's not love...yet..... but we are meeting later to down a few shots.
