Tell me about your 'space'

Do you have a proper studio..or even just a room or large cupboard..any kind of dedicated space to store all your photography stuff and set up backdrops etc. in?

I just wonder as I am currently running into real stuffv's equipment issues and long for a proper area rather than just making do with odd corners in different rooms.

Go on..commiserate or make me jealous.

Re: Tell me about your 'space'

I have a room about 10 foot square and has all my camera stuff my books and my sewing stuff.

Nobody goes in there but me. I have my tv and cd player as well, and a well worn sofa.

Luke has his playroom and hubby has the workshop.

Re: Tell me about your 'space'

Sounds lush jols.

I'd settle for a large box at the minute.

I have a workshop in the smallest spare bedroom which doubles as my "darkroom"

Re: Tell me about your 'space'

My space is a wardrobe in the spare room, but it's slowly being taken over by the stuff i do for the charity,

my computer is in the living-room and i tend to leave my camera near to that,

i have just had a house full, with kids and grand-kids staying for summer holidays, so my camera stuff got moved into our bedroom for safety

Re: Tell me about your 'space'

I used to have a space - unfortunately all the spaces are taken up with children now.

That said, we've a little room under the stairs with a few kitchen cabinets in. At the moment it's jammed full of all sorts of junk so I may just adopt that.

Re: Tell me about your 'space'

We have a lobby that goes through to the garage. It has a few photography bits in it.
I keep on leaving stuff on the dinning room table too

Re: Tell me about your 'space'

My stuff seems to be dotted around everywhere, some stuff in the living room, dining room, in a wardrobe in one of the bedrooms, then there are my telescopes and parts, 2 in a spare bedroom with one tripod & Mount, accessories in a wardrobe, accessories under the stairs, in the kitchen, another scope in the loft, and another tripod in the outside shed. Not enough room to designate any one area of the house as there is too much stuff, i might of had if missus had not taken over half the dining room with her craft stuff
