Where will photography be 1000 years from now?
Well the mind sure does boggle! But seriously, where do you think photography will be then?

At a rough guess most who take photos now will be dead, of course I may be wrong.

Camera's will be microscopic and take much more pictures than we can today???

I think our eyes may be the cameras, where everything in our 'brains' is getting recorded! And we simply 'think' when we want to take a snap then go back home and it gets downloaded to a computer. Or something like that lol.

I think we'll be back to rocks and dye made from plants as we'll have wrecked everything and the civilisation will end!

Makes you wonder how much more they can do on certain themes. We can already call anyone almost anywhere in the world from a small pocketable device almost anywhere else in the world. We can already capture images of very high quality although optical physics rather than electronics limits size and ability. Yes, the world could be devasted, but if not, it's almost unimaginable where we could be in 1000 years...

I would agree, there'll not be a need to worry about photography, we'll be more intent on worrying where our next meal will come from. That said, I don't think there'll be people anyway. I am pretty convinced that mankind will end pretty soon
